About Us

Stormsong has been an online presence since 1997 and has provided metaphysical products, bath/body and candles for over two decades prior in other venues. This is both our business, and our path. We've never approached it with a hobby attitude.

R'Chel (Rain) has been creating candles & fragrance products for over twenty years and has been following a pagan path since she was a child. She is a coven-initiated High Priestess though currently follows a semi-solitary, celtic (Brigidian) for the most part, tradition & is a Reiki Master. With a longtime love of candles, herbs & fragrance products she began creating as a way to provide her now teenage son with a sense of work ethic as she left the corporate management/advertising & sales workforce and undertook the role of stay at home mom during his homeschooling. The business grew from her candles, to what you see here. She is also an artist, designer & artist.

Cole (Rogue) has been creating wands, runestones and other clay creations for over 5 years. He has a strong spirituality and is constantly creating unique offerings. He leans towards a mix of Shaman and Hermetic callings and is also a Reiki Master.

We currently share our home with 8 cats, a deaf ferret, a black mouse, and several aquariums of varioius sizes. These number have a tendency to fluctuate as we participate in rescue operations. Our kitties oversee all operations & are in charge of influencing what is offered in our Familiars/Kitties section.

In January 2009 we both returned to college as we had been feeling drawn to put our scientific backgrounds to use. We graduated a Medical Lab Technology degree program & passed our boards in October 2010. We're currently in the process of finishing up Biotechnology degrees as well.

These degrees will allow us to move back to R'Chel's home state of Oregon in the summer of 2011. During the late winter/early spring months of 2011 we'll be downsizing our store resale offerings so that we do not have to move so much stock. We currently have very deeply discounted prices on many items, so take advantage of them while we have these items!
